CFKR’s Cranbrook Past & Present Teachers’ Legacy Fund celebrates another year of giving, with the 2026 grant for $909.09 designated to the School District 5 Southeast Kootenay District Resource Centre to purchase engaging and colourful picture books for literacy development.
Each year, the Cranbrook District Teachers’ Association (CDTA) and the Cranbrook Retired Teachers’ Association (CRTA) work together to make a granting recommendation to the CFKR Board.
The CFKR thanks the Cranbrook teaching community for continuing to grow this fund, which supports student success and wellness in Cranbrook’s public schools, recognizing, in perpetuity, the dedication and lasting positive impact of teachers in Cranbrook.
